Rohit Dhar is what you would describe as a consummate publishing whiz, having soiled his hands in the industry for more than 30 years. Skilled in Educational Publishing, Editing, Publications, and Text Editing are his forte. He brings a light touch and old-world passion to planning and developing strong publishing lists. Born and raised in the lap of the most enchanting Kashmir valley, Rohit worked his way up from teaching junior school levels to educational publishing. In publishing, he rose through the ranks and worked his way through to head academic publishing in various international publishing organisations. Before co-founding Eupheus, Rohit worked as V.P., Learning Solutions, Encyclopaedia Britannica. In his long publishing tenure, he worked as Publishing Director in renowned publishing organisations such as Oxford University Press, Pearson Longman, Vikas Publishing House, Goyal Bros., Frank Bros., to name a few. 

 

Rohit is a rare individual with an even rarer combination of personality traits. He is shrewd as well as humane and a fun-loving visionary who is also grounded and humble. It would not be off-the-mark to describe him as an alchemy of competence and creativity, highly creative, and talented, collaboration and result-orientedness. He has the gift of predicting future trends in education and making them relevant and workable.

 

Rohit is convinced that having children in our sights as path-finders and co-implementers of the SDGs is an idea whose time has come.
